Pleading Vagrant is an event found exclusively in Act 2. You encounter a homeless beggar who is willing to trade you for your gold.

• [Give 85 Gold] Requires 85 Gold. Obtain a random Relic.

• [Rob] Obtain a random Relic. Become Cursed - Shame.

• [Leave] Nothing happens.

Dialogue

Encounter
While sneaking past a group of shrouded figures, one of them approaches you.
"Got anything for me friend? Please... maybe some Coin?"
"I just need somewhere to stay, I have treasures I can trade..."
He seems delusional, but harmless.
Give 85 Gold
Oh yes, yes! Here here, a fair trade!
Rob
You snatch the precious relic from his clutches and walk away.
From behind you hear,
"Have you no shame? HAVE YOU NO SHAAAAAME?!"
You have some shame.

• This event was named "Addicted", but its name changed to "Pleading Vagrant", possibly to distance itself from the negative connotation and concerns with implied substance abuse.
